A.L. Hollis of Granbury, a retired airline pilot, died Wednesday, March 20, 2002, in Granbury. He was 91.

Mr. Hollis was born Dec. 5, 1910, in Fort Stockton. He married Loye Kathryn Price in 1939 in Dallas[sic]. He worked for Delta Airlines and was a member of Acton United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife Oct. 10, 2001.

He is survived by one brother-in-law, Wallace D. Price and wife Joyce of Gun Barrel City; and three nieces and four nephews.

Services are Monday, March 25, 2002, at 1 p.m. in Acton United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas. Visitation is Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Wiley Funeral Home. Wiley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.—Hood County News, Mar. 23, 2002; p. 9A
