Miss Holly was born December, 10, 1991 in Newport and was a member of the Jesus Is Lord Worship Center in Jacksonport. When she was younger she was a member of the Girl Scouts. She was a sweet and open young lady who always had a smile on her face and never met a stranger. She had graduated from Newport High School as a member of the Class of 2012, where she was a member of the Music Club and Bible Club. Miss Holly enjoyed Facebook, swimming and fishing. She was a Daddy's girl who also loved her nieces and nephews and her cats, whom she called her "Fur Babies".
Miss Holly is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Sylvia Thrasher and maternal grandfather, Buford Nicholson.
Miss Holly is survived by her father, Billy Eugene Thrasher and her mother, Jeanetta Nicholson Thrasher of Newport; three brothers, David Dewayne Thrasher and Terry Glenn Thrasher both of Walnut Ridge, Wesley Gene Thrasher of Newport; two adopted brothers, Adam Jungers of Tuckerman, and Steven Talley of Jonesboro; two sisters, Tomalee Pierce of Wichita, Kansas, and Amber Rooks of Texas; three adopted sisters, Alexandra "Allie" Green of Newport, Shiann Breedlove Cook and husband, Jack, of Newport, and Angel Huckabee of Newport; her grandmother, Neva Holt and husband Ed of Newport, her nieces and nephews, Haily, Gracielynn, Brooklyn, Addison, Madison, Corey and Alex, along with a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins, many other family, and a lifetime of friends.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, September 25th at the Walnut Grove Annex with Bro. Leon Tidwell and Rev. Kenneth Fitz, officiating. Visitation will be at the Jackson's Newport Funeral Home from 12 noon to service.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Jack Cook, Jack Cavilee, Vernon McCoy, Nicholas Wilson, David Jones and Shannon Stoner. Honorary pallbearers will be the NHS Class of 2012, Billy O'Barts, Roger Hatfield and Kaitlyn Cash.
