Henrietta S. HORNER, a former court clerk and Lake County judge, died Thursday. She was 86.
Horner, a native of Holland, moved to Tavares from Orlando in 1922. A longtime clerk, she was appointed a judge by Gov. Reubin Askew in 1960 to fill a vacancy created by a death in the office.
She lived at 15319 Old Highway 441, Tavares, and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Tavares.
Survivors include a brother, Harry Schuur, Orlando; sisters, Bertha S. Gemeinhardt, Fannie Kessler, both of Orlando, and Ann E. Howard, Hyattsville, Md.
