Clyde Judson Denslow, 98, died Monday, Sept. 14, 2015, at Pleasant View Home, Inman. He was born Dec. 20, 1916, at Meade, to Juddie Morton and Viola (Coon) Denslow.

He was a member of the Church of God in Stratton, Colo., a Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the Asiatic Pacific Theater and a member of the VFW in Burrton and Halstead Post #1824. Clyde was a farmer in Stratton, Colo.

On Feb. 16, 1947, he married Caroline Pearl Swagerty in Elkhart. She died May 31, 2007. He is survived by: his son, Clyde Ronald and wife Karen of Burrton; four grandchildren, Rhonda, Christina, Amy and Allen; and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside service with Navy Honors will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, in the Elkhart Cemetery, Elkhart. Memorials may be made to the Church of God in Stratton, Colo. or Elkhart, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
