The son of Leslie V. and Zula (Goodman) Albert, he married Marilyn McCrory on June 19, 1949.
He served in the US Navy during World war II and was an accountant for the Marathon Oil Company
His wife; a son, John Albert; two daughters, JoLynn Robinson and Lou Ann Devine; and four grandchildren survived him.
