Cloyd E. Leister, 73, of Dillsburg, died at 1:19 a.m. Monday at Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Nancy M. (Updike) Leister.

The service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Emig Funeral Home, 47 N. Queen St., Dover. Burial will be in Emanuel Cemetery near Lewisberry. Viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Leister was born July 15, 1923, in Newberry Township. He was the son of the late Calvin A. and Viola (Frantz) Leister.
He worked for BMY for 18 years in the tool room. He was a member of United Steelworkers of America.

Mr. Leister is survived by three sons, Cloyd E. Leister Jr. of Dover, John C. Leister of Dillsburg and Gary E. Leister of Bowmansdale; a daughter, Glenda K. Nace of York; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Wayne D. Baker, pastor of Mount Zion United Methodist Church, Dillsburg.
