Bernard C. Henderson, 65, of 30
Franklin Street, died at 9 last
night at Littauer Hospital. He was
a patient 10 days, and in ill health
two weeks.
He was born Oct. 10, 1897 at
Natural Bridge, Jefferson County,
and resided in Gloversville for 45
years. He was employed for 47
years at the Fulton County Silk
Mills.
He married the former Grace
Blowers on April 5, 1931.
Mr. Henderson was a member
of the Red Bunch Fish and Game
Club. -
Survivors in addition to his wife
are three sons, Bernard Henderson
Jr., of Gloversville, Leonard
Henderson of Schenectady and
Leslie Henderson of Canandaigua;
six daughters, Mrs. Samuel Tilten
of Suncook, N.H., Mrs. Samuel
Galluccio of Everett, Mass., Mrs.
Bernard Oare of Ansonia, Conn.,
Mrs. David Brower of Riceville,
and Mrs. Gary Dennie and Miss
Eleanor Henderson, both of Gloversville;
one brother, Ernest Henderson
of Watertown; 14 grandchildren,
three step-grandchildren,
one great-grandson, aunts, uncles,
nieces and nephews.

The funeral of Bernard C. Henderson
was held at 2 this afternoon
at the Walrath and Bushouer
Funeral Home with Rev. Leonard
Humbert, pastor of the Free Methodist
Church, officiating.
Bearers were Harry Johnson,
Glen Springstead, Ross Whitaker,
Robert Saunders, co-workers at the
Fulton County Silk Mills, Gerald
Handy and William Andrest, members
of the Red Bunch Fish and
Game Club.
Burial was at the Mayfield
Cemetery.
