Merle Jackson Hamrick, 83, of Enterprise, passed away on September 9, 2015 at Rush Hospital.
She was born on October 23, 1931 to Ulmer and Pearl (Fagan) Jackson in Gilbertown, AL.
Merle is survived by her daughters, Juanita Bozeman and Janet Abelon; grandchildren, Alan Abelon, Glenn Abelon, Kristen Holyoak, Tiffany Rogers, and Nicholas Bozeman; great grandchildren, Kael Abelon, Autumn Abelon, Riley Abelon, Gaven Abelon, Johnathan Hover, Breanna Price, Charles Price, and Madison Rogers; brothers, Jimmy Jackson, Johnny Jackson, and Leon Jackson; sisters, Mildred Dunnam, Sybil Parker, and Patsy Sisson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harmon William Hamrick; son, Harmon W. Hamrick, II; grandson, Christopher Bozeman, and granddaughter, Christina Bozeman.
Visitation will be held Saturday, September 12, 2015, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2015, 2:00 pm at the Stonewall Assembly of God Church, with Rev. Ed Shoemaker officiating. The body will be taken to the church at 1:30. Burial will follow the Stonewall Cemetery.
