Businessman. He was the founder of "Days Inns of America" the first opened in 1970 at Tybee Island, Georgia and within eight years there were more than 300 across America. The most important ingredient to his success was his unwavering belief in Judeo-Christian values. This meant that treating everyone,from the most astute banker to the most modest employee with dignity and respect. By the time he died at age 44, he had acquired a multimillion dollar fortune, that he generously shared half with churches and other charitable institutions."Keep on Keepin'on!" was his father's advice and Cecil took these words to heart as he diligently pursued his dream. There has been critical acclaim to him by four United States Presidents; Ronald Regan, Jimmy Carter, Gerald R. Ford and Richard M. Nixon.
