Mrs. Lula Mae Tate, 71, of 3303 E. Enos Ave. died at 10:50 a.m. Thursday at 2217 E. Keys Ave.
She was a member of the Central Baptist Church.
Her husband, William, died in 1947 and a son, Robert, in 1928 [sic]. [editor note: Robert died in 1931.]
Surviving are two sons, John W. of Pawnee; Donald W. of Girard; two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie L. Chidster of Springfield and Miss Carrol F. Tate of Springfield; three brothers, Henry, Charles and John Welker of Springfield; four sisters, Mrs. Alta Allen of West Plains, Mo.; Mrs. Emma Miller of Lake Forest, Mrs. Florence Seipel of Springfield and Mrs. Carrie Hahn of Broadwell; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Bisch Memorial Home with Dr. Adam Baum officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
