Word came last week of the death of Clark Siple by typhoid fever, at his hoe near Stanberry, Missouri. The remains were brought to Villisca for burial, Monday last and the funeral services occurred the next day, conducted by Rev. Armstrong. The deceased came to this vicinity from Illinois with Thos. Wertman nearly six years ago and held the respect and esteem of his acquaintances, as an industrial, straight principled young man. He leaves a wife, formerly Miss Stella Gourley and a long child to mourn his departure.
