Forest M. Agan, 49, of 716 Maris street, died at the Ottumwa hospital at 7:50 a.m. today.
Born in Lucas county August 8, 1905, he was the son of Lemuel and Mary Umbenhower Agan. He had lived in Ottumwa the past 20 years.
Surviving are three sons, Charles Agan, Jerry Agan, and Larry Agan, all of Ottumwa; his father Lemuel Agan of Phoenix, Ariz.; two brothers, Loren Agan of Ottumwa and Clifford Agan of Des Moines; three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Clayton of Atlanta, Tex., Mrs. Mary Witcher of Texarkana, Ark., and Mrs. Cleta Risks, Chicago. Also surviving are five half-brothers, Everett Agan of Phoenix, Kenneth Agan of Modesto, Calif., Eldon Agan of Ottumwa, Bobby Agan of St. Louis, Lloyd Agan at Las Vegas, Neb., and a half-sister, Mrs. Golda Lester, Ottumwa.
He was preceded in death by his mother, a daughter Mary Louise Agan, and a sister, Leone Agan.
The body is at the Johnson funeral chapel pending completion of funeral arrangements.
