During their lives together, Solomon and Margaret owned their own home and a cotton farm. While raising her family, Margaret worked as the homemaker at their home and as farm labor on their property.
Margaret passed away in 1902, and seven of their children preceded her in death. At the time of her death, Margaret and Solomon had been married forty (40) years.
On July 27, 1904, Solomon married his second wife, Mandy Garner. To their union, two children were born. Their son, Freeman, was born on April 15, 1905. Freeman Dunn was Solomon's 19th child. On August 8, 1907, Solomon and Mandy gave birth to their daughter, Garner, who sadly was stillborn at birth. Garner Dunn was Solomon's 20th child.
SOLOMON DUNN's life was tragically taken on October 27, 1915. He was 81 years old.
