Actress. Dancer. Lillian Molieri was born in Managua, Nicaragua, the daughter of Luis Arturo Molieri (A Nicaraguan banker) and Malida Molieri. She attended Notre Dame De Cion convent and Collegio de la Asuncion, Nicaragua. After coming to the U.S., Lillian was in 35 films and TV shows from 1944 to 1957. Among her film appearances, she is best known for uncredited roles in the 1946 movies,"Anna and the King of Siam"(one of the King's wives), "People are Funny"(singing "Hey, Jose"), and "Tarzan and the Leopard Woman." She also appeared in the 1951, Three Stooges shorts,"Three Arabian Nuts"(Larry's harem girl) and "Pest Man Wins"(party guest). In 1949, she married Adolph Hartmann, Jr. in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Hartmann was the great-grandson of one of the founders of Anaheim, California. Lillian's brother, Ronald Molieri, Nicaragua's Vice-Consul in Los Angeles, attended his sister at the wedding. Lillian was also noted for being the junior, past president of the Pan-American League in Los Angeles. Among her TV appearances in the 1950's were: "The Adventures of Kit Carson"(1951-52), "Hopalong Cassidy"(1952), "I Love Lucy"(1953-1956), and "The Cisco Kid"(1956). She retired from films and TV in 1957, and returned to Managua. There, Lillian founded a school of dance and drama, and was the first Nicaraguan to promote teaching ballet. Lillian Molieri died in Managua, Nicaragua, September 13, 1980.
