CAYCE, SC - Mildred Hazel Burns, 70, of Cayce, South Carolina, wife of Charles G. Burns entered into eternal rest Saturday, August 1, 2015.

Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, August 6, 2015, in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL at 12:00 p.m. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Millie was born May 18, 1945, in Charleston, SC daughter of the late Harold Francis Hazel, Jr. and Mildred Hutson Hazel.

She graduated from St. John's High School, Johns Island, SC.

There are no words to encompass the love and dedication she gave to her family. Her life's work was making sure they had no wants or needs.

She is survived by her husband, Charles, who always called her Honey; daughter, Angela D. Burns of Cayce, SC; one granddaughter, Reagan A. Burke; one sister, Margaret Frances Blackmon of Hanahan, SC; two brothers, Harold Francis Hazel, III of Johns Island, SC and Wayne Randall Hazel of Johns Island, SC; eight nieces and nephews; and six great nieces and nephews.
