FREEPORT - Thelma J. Sears, 91, of Freeport, passed away at 5:55 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 13, 2008) at Southeastern Med, Cambridge.
Born in Spraggs, Pa., on Nov. 29, 1916, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Rhoda M. Yeager Moore.
She attended Piedmont United Methodist Church.
Her husband, James McConnell Sears, passed away Aug. 18, 1999. They married Feb. 5, 1938.
Surviving are two daughters, a brother, a sister, 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were two sons, Steven Sears and Charles Sears; and a daughter, Dolores Fleming.
