She was a life-long member of the Church of the Brethren. She lived a quiet and devoted life that won for her a host of friends in many parts of the state.
Surviving are two sons, Fred C., Salisbury, MD, and William A., Hagerstown, MD; daughters, Mrs. Cora E. Conrad, Hagerstown and Mrs. Paul M. Horst, State Line, MD; brothers Rev. F.D. Anthony, Baltimore, MD, and Charles E. Anthony, Marion, Ohio; sisters, Mrs. Alonzo Spielman, Hagerstown; and Mrs. Henry Byers, Greencastle, PA, and 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral Saturday afternoon, leaving the house at 3:30 o'clock, services at the Hagerstown Church of the Brethren at 4 o'clock, Rev. A.M. Dixon, assisted by Rev. H.R. Rowand officiating.
Interment at Longmeadow Cemetery,Paramount.
It was her long expressed desire that flowers be omitted.
