Raymond Budlong passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at home surrounded by family. He was a native of Newport News and owned and operated Budlong Plumbing and Heating and Budlong Homes. He was an Army Air Force veteran as well as an avid fisherman and adventurer who loved to travel.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Budlong; and granddaughter, Jennifer Jones.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Webb, Susan Johnson and husband, Stephen; and four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Peninsula Funeral Home, with the service following at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Peninsula Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
