Jerry was born in Waco, Texas, to the late Clarence and Francis (Smith) Sullivan. He was retired from the City of Marlin where he had served as a plant operator. He was a 23 year resident of Marlin, moving there from Riesel. Jerry was a Baptist and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He loved to fish, tend to his chickens, and work.
Survivors include daughters, Sandra Killough and husband, John, of Lorena and Patricia Solberg and husband, Carl, of Bruceville; son, David L. Sullivan, of Lacy Lakeview; grandchildren, Amanda Killough, Matthew Killough, Micah Sullivan and Zachary Sullivan; brothers, C.E. Sullivan and James W. Sullivan, of Waco; special family friends, Joyce and Bert Hargrove, Bobbie Pryor and Sherry Hill; and very special friend, Yvonne Kluck, of Perry.
