Benny T. Gryzch, age 48, of Cedar Lake Ind. passed away Sunday, Sept. 20 at our Lady of Mercy Hospital. Survivors: wife Maralee; two daughters, Mrs Linda Pendergrast of Iowa, Mrs. Bernadette Horsley of Cedar Lake; four sons, Stephen of Cedar Lake, Richard, Dennis and Paul all at home; mother Mrs. Katherine Gryzch of St. John; five brothers, Walter Gryzch, Tacoma Washington, Leo Gryzch of St. John, Tony and Frank Gryzch, both of St. John, Stanley Gryzch of Dyer; four sisters, Sister Ellen Gryzch OSF, Mrs. Teresa Pilarcik of St. John, Mrs. Lottie MaKay, Dowagiac, Mich., Mrs. Rosie Jordan of Buffalo N.Y., four grandchildren. Funeral service, 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22 at Holy Name Church. Burial Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville. Friends may call at the Eller-Brady Funeral Home in Cedar Lake, 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 today, Sept. 21. He was a lifetimeme resident of St. John and Cedar Lake, veteran of W.W. II, member of the American Legion, Post 261, and of the St. John VFW 717.
