GARVEN, Robert C. Born Nov. 14, 1915 in San Antonio, Texas. Passed away July 9, 2006 in Sylmar, Calif. Bob came to the Antelope Valley in 1953. He retired from Hostess Cake in 1976 and was a realtor for a decade. Bob leaves behind his loving wife of 63 years, Marguerite, daughter Vickie and her husband Ben Trujillo, son, Jon Adams and wife Sue, sisters, Ruth, Charlene, grandchildren, Dena, Randy, Kirk (Dawn), Joey, Richard, Desiree (Ron), Jamie (Jeff), Danielle (Jason), Ross (Bonnie), Peter (Betty), Jimmy (Jen), Benjamin, Anthony (Katie), Numerous great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, Mary, Frankie, Susie, Jimmy Dell, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his son James Roland Garven and daughter, Suzanne Edith Olson. Anyone that knew him will truly miss him. Visitation will be held from 9am to 11am with funeral services at 11am, both on Monday, July 17, 2006 at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary Palmdale with the Reverend Ben Trujillo officiating.
