Clyde Hevrin, 59, 414 Lincoln Park Blvd., died at 2:40 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, 1963, in Swedish-American Hospital after a short illness.
Born May 1, 1904, in Juda, Wis., son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hevrin. Lived 53 years in Rockford, coming here from Wisconsin. Married for the former Frances Critser in Belvidere, Dec. 29, 1924. Employed as drill press operator by Atwood Vacuum Machine Co. for nine years, and later with Time Screw Co. for about ten months. He retired two years ago. Member of Rockford Gospel Tabernacle Church.
Survivors include: his wife; two sons, Earl Hevin, Durand, and Denis Hevrin, Rockford; Dennis Hevrin, Rockford; five grandchildren; three brothers, Clayton, Loran and Harold, all of Rockford; a sister, Mrs. Arno Hecker, Loves Park; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services at 1:30 Tuesday in Long-Klontz Funeral Home. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
