GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Mary Ellen Fromm, 87, formerly of Hays, died Friday, June 11, 2004, at her home. She was born March 17, 1917, in Hays to Frank and Andrea Ross.
She received her nursing degree from St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing, Denver, in 1946.
She married Laurence Fromm Jr. on June 11, 1946.
Survivors include a son, James Laurence Fromm; a daughter, Jean Ann Fromm; three brothers, Lawrence Ross, Great Bend, Francis Ross, Wichita, and Alan Ross, Hays; a sister, Irene Hauser; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers, Norbert Ross, Louis Ross and Richard Ross, two sisters-in-law, Armella Ross and Berenita Ross; and a nephew Mark Ross.
Services were Aug. 14 at her home.
