WILLIAM L. PRICE- Wednesday, August 16, 1995. LANCASTER, CALIF. — William L. Price, 73, Lancaster, Calif., died Monday, Aug. 14, 1995, at a hospital in Tampa, Fla. Burial will be at Desert Lawn Cemetery in Palmdale, Calif. Mr. Price was born Feb. 27, 1922, in Lawrence, Kan., the son of William S. and Ida V. Schott Price. He lived in Lawrence until joining the National Guard in 1939. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II, retiring as a master sergeant. He married Barbara Strawn in 1941, in Denver. She preceded him in death. Survivors include a daughter, Joyce Budke, Tampa, Fla.; a son, Richard, Lancaster; a brother, Howard, Lawrence; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The Desert Lawn Memorial Park funeral home in Lancaster is in charge of arrangements.
