Retired US Army SFC William Gilbert "Bill" Booth, 87, was a son to the late Charlie Gilbert Booth and Mabel Hardin Booth. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Booth.
Mr. Booth served in the Sea Bees Navy, WWII and Vietnam. He served in the 82nd Airborne and 7th Special Forces. He was a member of the Masons for 50 years. He loved spending time with family and friends and had a passion for horses.
Interment in Sandhills StateVeterans Cemetery with full military honors.
