Elishu Baxter , father of Tryphena Baxter Root , was born in Connecticut
in 1752, and removed to Norwalk, Vt, when the town was new. He died in
Sharon,Vt., 09 August 1838, age 86.
Tryphena Taylor was born in Pelham, Ct, and d. in Norwich, Vt, about
1823.
