Karen Jolene Nealey, 65 of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at her home. She was a native of Wichita, KS, a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, the DAR (Daughters of American Revolution Community), and Elizabethtown Emmaus. She was formerly employed by Communicare and Elizabethtown Community and Technical College. She was a devoted Christian woman, wife, mother, and nana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Marguerite Nivison. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Vincent Nealey; two sons, Collin Nealey of Cincinnati, OH and Sean (Jessica) Nealey of Lexington; two grandchildren, Piper and Liam Nealey; one brother, Steve Nivison of Montana; two sisters, Karla Falter of Idaho and Kathy Blaha of Kansas and 2 cousins, Patsy Congrove of Kansas and Brad Paulsen The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church with Dr. Charles Darland officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Brown Funeral Home and continue after 10 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Baptist Church. There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. Monday at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff.
