Loreen Church Kiger, 88, of Spraggs, died at 7:30 a.m. Monday, March 30, 2009, while she was sleeping in the house where she was born Friday, August 6, 1920, in Wayne Township.
Mrs. Kiger was a daughter of John F. Church and Grace Anderson Church.
She was a member of Blacksville (W.Va.) United Methodist Church and was a member and board member of Blacksville Senior Citizens.
A homemaker, Mrs. Kiger worked for several years for Bernice Lewis as a beautician.
Surviving are her husband, Raymond L. Kiger, whom she married October 11, 1941; a daughter, two sons, seven grandchildren; a stepgranddaughter; two great-grandson;, four stepgreat-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; a brother, and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a son, Ronald E. Kiger; a brother, John A. Church; a sister, Wilma M. Phillips; and three half brothers, Howard Church, William Church and Edward Church.
