Funeral services for Mrs. C.P. Hinds, who died at the home of her daughter, Faye Hinds of Vancouver, WA, on September 29, 1960, are scheduled at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 4, at the Welter's Funeral Home.
The Rev. Erling Erickson will officiate. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Arthur McDonald, Vincent Madden, Eli Decker, Ray Scotter, Fred Eckmann and Verl Deeg.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday afternoon and evening.
Hannah Noland was born at Elliott, Ford County, IL, on November 24, 1879.
She married Calvin P. Hinds at Gibson City, IL in 1899 and moved with her husband to Hitchcock, SD, where they made their home until 1915.
They moved to a farm northeast of Huron and lived there until the death of her husband in 1947. She had made her home with her daughter in Vancouver the past four years.
She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Vona, Mrs. E. C. Buckley, Huron; Faye Hinds of Vancouver, WA; Bernadine, Mrs. George Kramer, Vancouver; Hannah, Mrs. Robert Ruch, Atwater, CA; two sons, Harvey and Loyd Hinds both of Vancouver; 10 grandchildren; also two sisters and three brothers, all of Elliott, IL.
