Sybil Colson Rowe, 76, passed away Friday, June 19, at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Center. She was born May 9, 1939 in Evans County to Troy and Eudell Bradley Colson and lived here all of her life. She was employed in the textile industry for many years and owned and operated Cowford Bait and Tackle with her husband for 20 years. She was a member of Watermelon Creek Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Eddie Rowe; daughter, Renee’ Bland; grandson, Dustin Rogers.
She is survived by her children, Anthony (Brenda) Branch of Melbourne, Fla., Keith (Jane) Branch of Glennville; brother, Larry (Billie) Colson of Cartersville, Ga.; sisters, Emogene Burbage of Barnwell S.C., Ernestine Rogers of Claxton’ brother-in-law, Thomas (Diane) Rowe of Glennville; grandchildren, Erika Wilson, Nathan (Christie) Rogers, Joshua (Brittany) Branch, Jonathan Branch, Jacob Branch, Jeremiah Branch and Jessica Walling; great- grandchildren, T.J., Elliott, Zane, Carlie and Brooks.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 22, at the chapel of Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Miller and Bro. Michael Sapp officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Rogers, Jonathan Branch, Gary Ray, Danny Ray, Pedro Claudio and Billy Conley.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Widow Ladies Sunday School Class.
Brannen Kennedy Funeral Home of Glennville is in charge of the arrangements.
