SOUTH BEND - Jerry Dywane "Booda / Rico" Wright was born February 9, 1994, in Munster, Indiana, to Jerry and Latoya Wright. Jerry was a caring and devoted father to his baby girl, Jer'riyah D. Wright. He was a great father, brother, nephew, and friend to all those whom he loved. Jerry was a graduate of Clay High School (Class of 2013). He will be remembered most for his outgoing personality. Jerry spent most of his time either with his baby girl, playing basketball with friends, or traveling through the city being the fly guy everyone knows him to be. Jerry was so full of life and could make anyone crack a smile with his humor and that's what will be missed by so many. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Richard L. Medcalf and Lindsey Wright; grandmother, Carolyn Crouch; and his Uncle Emuda D. Medcalf. Jerry is survived by his parents, Jerry and Latoya Wright; three sisters, Terria, Taje, and Jerranique Wright; one brother, Jermyah Wright; and grandmother, Annie Mae Wright. Jerry also leaves behind his baby girl and love of his life, Jer'riyah D. Wright. He is survived by uncles, Lindsey (Latesa) Wright of Gary, IN, and Richard Gore of Lafyette, IN; aunts, Kathryn Medcalf of Indianapolis, IN, Dikia Gore of Gary, IN, Michele Wright, Mamie (Charles) Wright, Irene Wright, and Cutrina Wright, all of South Bend, IN, Barbara Ann Profitt of Wichita, KS, and Toni Ragdales of Salt Lake City, UT. Jerry leaves behind a special friend and mother of his child, Ryesha Mohead, and a numerous amount of cousins, including special cousins, Lindsey Wright, David Wright, Jolise Crossley, and Deyquawn Fitch. Jerry may be physically gone but he will forever live in our hearts. Funeral services for Jerry Wright will begin at 2 pm on Friday, June 19, 2015, at Emmanuel Community Church, 415 W. Lasalle Street.
