MEADOR, RICKY C., 57, of Louisville, died Tuesday, November 1, 2011.
He was a lead signalmen for CSX transportation in Louisville for 37 years, a safety representative for CSX transportation for several years and a member of the brotherhood of railroad signalmen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Bessie Marie Meador.
He is survived by, Kathleen Meador; a daughter, Laura Meador; a grandson, Brent Anthony Katz; his former wife, April Price; his loving companion, Joyce Stober, two sisters, Donna Wadell (Jim) and Mary Meador; four brothers, John (Janet), Wesley, Patrick (Tara) and Todd (Stephanie) Meador; seven nephews and one niece.
Funeral service: 11 a.m. Saturday at Bosse Funeral Home, Barret and Ellison avenues, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation: 2-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
