Mary Ann Eastlin Tolleson's parents are unknown at this time. Born in South Carolina 31 May 1816, she married William T (Billy) Tolleson at the age of 22 in Georgia, 1838. Research is ongoing to find Mary Ann's family. Present information for Mary Ann is through her husband and her offspring, 12 children born between 1838 and 1861. The researchers are from the family of her mother-in-law, Mary Patsy Hittson (1789-1877), and her father-in-law William Grandshire Tolleson (1787-1860). Mary Ann and Billy Tolleson were born in South Carolina, married in Georgia, and raised their children in Alabama. Family research is most readily available through their history with the Lower Cane Creek Pimitive Baptist Church in Cleburne County, Alabama.
