CALDWELL — Services for two Caldwell residents, W. Ansil Rayne, 58, and Curan Arthur Leeper, 61, who died Friday morning when the station wagon in which they were riding collided head-on with a milk truck near Star, will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p. m. at the Flahiff chapel. The Rev. Harold N. Nye will officiate. Interment will be at Canyon Hill. Mr. Rayne was born April 16, 1898, in Webster county, Iowa, and came to Caldwell in 1905. He was married to Pearl Cookson, May 1, 1919, in Caldwell. He has been a resident of the Middleton and Caldwell area for the last 12 years.
Survivors include his wife of Caldwell; six sons, Bill and Jim of Caldwell; Bob and Jerry of Burns, Ore., Jim of Boise and Ted Rayne, at home; five daughters, Mrs. Shirley Ward and Miss Ardith Rayne, both of Caldwell, and Marilyn, Cheryl and Sandy Rayne, at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Rayne, Caldwell; three brothers, Monte of Caldwell, Pete of Fullerton, Calif., and Merle Rayne, Vale; one sister, Mrs. City, Iowa, and Mrs. Ella Park-Selma Reynolds, Vale, and 15 er, Omaha, Neb., and 15 grand-grandchildren.
Mr. Leeper was born in Red Oak, Iowa, April 28, 1895, and came with his family here in 1938. He was a farmer and stock buyer. He was married to Mildred Tepfer, Aug. 13, 1937, in Grand Island, Neb.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three sons, Artie of Warsaw, Ind., Ivan of Montesanois, Wash., and Clair Tepfer, Caldwell; one daughter, Mrs. Opal Goss, Caldwell; three brothers, Clint of Webster City, Iowa, Bill, in Iowa and Jess Leeper, in California; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Haahr, Villissa, Iowa, Mrs. Lillie Tilford. Davis City, Iowa, and Mrs. Ella Parker, Omaha, Neb., and 15 grandchildren.
