Elbert Lee "Junior" Edlin, 65, of Elizabethtown passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015, at Hardin Memorial Hospital.
He was a former employee of Golf Development and a member of Youngers Creek Baptist Church, where he was active in the music. He loved bluegrass music and was a member of the Iron Horse and Under Construction Bluegrass bands.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elbert Lee Edlin, Sr. and a sister, Norma Jean Kennedy.
Survivors include his wife, Loretta Milby Edlin; his children, Sheila Jean Simpson (Rick), Lee Edlin (Hope), Roger Paul Edlin (Shannon) and Laura Lee Larue; his mother, Dovie Wiseman Edlin; two brothers, Yogi Dennis Edlin, Sr. and Roger Lincoln Edlin; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at 11 AM from Youngers Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Ron Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
