Lillian A. Bohrer, 91, of Clinton passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare.
Lillian was born in Utica on May 10, 1924, a daughter of the late John and Bertha (Penree) Eilers. She was raised and educated in Utica and was a 1941 graduate of Utica Free Academy. Lillian married Frank Bohrer at St. Joseph Church on October 27, 1945. For many years she was employed with the Boston Store in Utica and then later until her retirement with Herb Philipson's in New Hartford. Lillian was a lifelong member of St. Joseph & St. Patrick Church, a choir member for 65 years, and a former Parish Council and Adoration Society member. She loved to work on jigsaw puzzles, word search books and in her earlier years was an avid bowler.
Lillian is survived by her beloved husband Frank, her four children and a sister-in-law and husband. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Lillian was predeceased by a brother, Jack Eilers in 1943.
