ATTAINED RIPE OLD AGE OF 96
John Eltrathan (sic), Eldest Inmate at County Infirmary, Called to His Reward
Having attained the ripe old age of 96 years, John Eltrathan(sic) passed away at the county infirmary Monday morning at 8 o'clock. Death was due to infirmities caused by old age. He was admitted to the institution from Monroe township Nov. 12,1901. For the past year he has been an invalid and unable to get around. He was the oldest inmate at the institution. The deceased came to this country from England many years ago, being a native of that country. Several children survive him, these living near New Concord. A son, William Eltrathan (sic),resides near Otsego. The remains will be taken to the White Eyes church near Otsego Tuesday morning, at which place the funeral services will be held.
