Mildred Ann Dale was born the daughter of Isaiah Nelson and Cleo Maple Baxter.

She was a homemaker and a member of Hope Freewill Baptist Church in Fayetteville.

Survivors include two daughters, June Walden of Fayetteville and Sandra Damron of Norman, Oklahoma; two sisters, Goldie Pickle of Ft. Scott, Kansas, and Marie Dean of Medicine Lodge, Kansas; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
