Mrs. Marion L. Cole, 99, for many years a resident of the town of Richland, died Friday, Jan. 11, 1929 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Leon Martin, four miles-west of Pulaski following a long illness. She was the oldest resident of the town.
Mrs. Cole was born Jan. 6, 1830, in Jefferson county and for more than 30 years, had been a resident of the town of Richland. Surviving-are two daughters. Mrs. Leon Martin and Mrs. Smiley J. Hewitt, both of Pulaski, and a number of nephews and nieces.
Last rites were held from the home at 9:45 Sunday morning, Rev. Lowell H.„ Palmer; pastor of the First Congregational church of Pulaski officiating. Burial was in Pulaski cemetery.
