LINCOLN - Carrie A. Neal, 91, wife of the late Lenwood Neal, died Aug. 19, 2003, at a Lincoln hospital. She was born in Lincoln, April 23, 1912, the daughter of Marshall and Gladys (Merrifield) Brawn.
Carrie spent 27 years teaching school and she loved every minute of it. Her family and her teaching were the big things in her life.She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Waldo Jamul of Southington, Conn; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Lenwood, she was predeceased by a son, Dale.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Lincoln Cemetery, with the Rev. Darrell Joiner, pastor of the Lincoln Congregational Church, officiating. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may donate in her memory to the Penobscot Valley Humane Society, P.O. Box 73, Lincoln, ME 04457. Arrangements with Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln.
