SPEEGLE, Rose LaVelle (Cline)
age 72, passed away June 9, 2006, at her home in Lancaster. She was born in Moran, Texas on Sept. 16, 1933. She married Harry Stuart Speegle on Dec. 23, 1950. They had 5 children; Cynthia, Chris, Harry, Carol and Albert. They moved to the Antelope Valley in 1966. In the early 1970s, she began her work as a school bus driver and teacher's aide. She retired in 2002. LaVelle was active in church work her whole life and was a member of All Valley Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her brother William Cline, her 5 children, 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday, June 15, 2006. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, June 16, 2006, both at Halley-Olsen- Murphy Memorial Chapel, Lancaster. Internment at Lancaster District Cemetery.
