Marion was born in Murphysboro, Illinois on November 1, 1948, the son of Richard Wayne and Maudie B. Wrolen. He was retired from the Railroad. Marion was a Veteran of the US Army, having served during Vietnam. He was of the Protestant Faith and a member of the American Legion Post #1145 in Percy.
Marion is survived by his children, Jesse (Stacy) Deppe of Perryville, MO and Jane (Tim) Deppe-Corbin of Kansas City, MO; 5 grandchildren; his Mother, Maudie Deppe of Percy; Step Mother, Floretta Deppe of Percy; sister, Marty (Brad) Young of Percy; step brother, Keith Anderson and Step sisters, Julie Volkman and Angela Dunning.
Marion was preceded in death by his Father, Richard Wayne Deppe; and a sister, Catherine S. Epplin.
Mr. Deppe’s wishes were to be cremated and a private service will follow at a later date with interment at Percy Village Cemetery.
