LIPPERT, Orion Martin "Skip"
born June 29, 1922, in Nape, California, and passed away June 8, 2006, at home with his family by his side at the age of 83. Mr. Lippert was known for his variety of settings, husband, father, grandfather, brother, Pearl Harbor Survivor, playing Santa Claus, the love of his family, music and his church, and he was retired from Plant 42 in the Security Dept., where he worked for 22 years. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Audrey, daughter Lorion Tucker (Virgil), sons Craig and Jim (Cynthia) Lippert, grandson Craig Martin Lippert Jr., granddaughter Jeanette Parrett, great-grandchildren Corey Reidy, Brian and Kayleena Lippert, sister Virginia Ericson and niece Judy. Skip was preceded in death by his first wife of 52 years Lois in 2001. Visitation will be held at 9 a.m., Saturday, June 17, 2006, in the Relief Society Room with a Funeral service at 10 a.m., both at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 23rd St. and Rancho Vista Blvd, West, Palmdale. Interment to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, Palmdale. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars Pearl Harbor Survivors, and to shake the hand of a man or woman in uniform and say thank-you. Arrangements entrusted to Halley-Olsen-Murphy Memorial Chapel & Crematory, Palmdale.
