Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at a 4:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Carencro for Florence "Poulette" Pellerin, age 63, who passed away Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.

Interment will be in Evangeline Memorial Gardens in Carencro. The Rev. Mark LeDoux, pastor of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, will officiate at the services.

Mrs. Pellerin was a native of Carencro and a resident of Scott. She was a parishioner of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church where she was a member of the Bonne Mort Society. She enjoyed caring for anyone in need and loved her family dearly.

Survivors include her husband, Irvin Pellerin of Carencro; two sons, Wayne Pellerin and Scotty Pellerin and his wife, Robbie, all of Carencro; one daughter, Brittany Menard and her husband, Dwight, of Carencro; two brothers, Steven Cormier and Matt Cormier and his wife, Julie; two sisters, Pauline Broussard and her husband, Keith, and Mona Smith and her husband, Byron; and six grandchildren, Holden Pellerin, Christian Menard, Ashton Menard, Aiden Menard, Caitlyn Menard and Kinzley Menard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Cormier, Jr. and the former Edna Arnaud; and two brothers, Robert Lewis Cormier and Paul Allen Cormier.

A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home by the Bonne Mort Society.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 12:00 p.m. Tuesday and will remain open all night until service time on Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Pellerin, Scotty Pellerin, John Mathew Cormier, Steven Cormier, Shawn Cormier and Dwight Menard. Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Broussard, Byron Smith, Holden Pellerin, Blaine Carpenter and Greg Carter.
