Fred S. Branham, 92, died Wednesday at Audubon Regional Medical Center.

He was a native of Owen County, a retired security guard, former Carrollton police chief from 1948 to 1951 and a member of Audubon Baptist Church and Abraham Masonic Lodge 8.

Survivors: three nieces and a nephew.

Funeral: 1 p.m. Friday, Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. Burial: Everygreen Cemetery. Visitation: 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday.
