Pastor Ollie Mae Rudolph, Pastor of the Bethlehem Temple of Springfield Church went on to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Bronson at Home Hospice Residence.

Pastor Ollie Mae Rudolph was born on November 10, 1929 the daughter of John Boyd and Ella Louise (L.T. James) (Shields) Boyd.

Ollie Mae was baptized in Jesus Name in 1955. She served as Assistant Pastor of Bethlehem Temple of Battle Creek for 12 years before the Lord called her to start her own work. She was given the vision to build and she was the Pastor of Bethlehem Temple of Springfield for 38 years, retiring in 2015. She was a member of the Bakken family for many years.

Pastor Rudolph had many ministries; two radio broadcasts, "Talk to Me I'll Listen and Moments of Praise" which served as a soul saving outreach ministry. She also ran the Truck of Love in honor of her late husband James Rudolph, which provided clothing, and sack lunches to the needy in the community.

Ollie is survived by her Sons: Richard (Frankie) Murrell of Battle Creek, MI and Michael Peters of Cincinnati, OH; Daughter: Jeanine (Kenneth) Magee; Loving sister China Mae Phillips of Benton Harbor, MI; five Grandchildren: Daniel Smithson, Daquinan Murrell, Katrina Carson, Kenneth and Kamille Magee; Great-Granddaughter: Jamie Jones; Four special cousins, James Scott of Plainwell, Joseph Bass Jr. of Battle Creek, Ruby (James) Woods of Battle Creek, and Elandria Wilson of OH; Three step-daughters Brenda Faye Rudolph, Lucille Rudolph, Teresa Rudolph. Ollie is survived by special children Steven and Kay Bakken and a host of nieces, nephews, loving family and the Bethlehem Temple of Springfield Church family.

Ollie was a member of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World being an active member since 1955, a licensed Minister, and a member of the Northern District Council.

Pastor Rudolph loved witnessing, spreading and sharing the Word of God with everyone. She enjoyed preaching, but she loved to teach the Word of God. She enjoyed cooking and she could bake a mean pound cake and sweet potato pie. She loved Gospel music and listening to Michael make the organ talk. Ollie loved people and cooking for people, but her favorite thing was praying, she often said you might be able to reach larger crowds, but you cannot beat me praying. She enjoyed travels with her son and going to council meetings.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands: James Rudolph and Vanderbilt Murrell; Aunts: Rebecca Stimage and Bertha (Harris) Bass; Son: Alonzo (Lonnie) Rudolph; Cousin: Willie (Ethel "Peaches") Smith; Sisters-in-law: Edna Williams and Catherine Scott.

Visitation will be held at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service, 375 W. Dickman Road, on Sunday April 26, 2015 from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm.
