Funeral services held Wednesday at Bethlehem Church
Funeral services for W. W. Bradfield, of Fairfax, who met his death in a fatal fall from the second story window of a hotel in Atlanta, Monday night, were held at Bethlehem church, Fairfax, Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, rev. O. C. Kidd, his pastor officiating.
Mr. Bradfield, who has been selling automobiles, registered at the hotel at Mariett and Bartow streets Monday afternoon. His body was found by a negro passing by on his way to his work, early Tuesday morning. The door to his room at the hotel was locked, and the window was open, with the shade drawn. The lights in the room were on, and no indication of suicide was found according to the report of Coroner Paul Donehoo of Atlanta.
It is thought by his family here, that Mr. Bradfield lost his balance and fell from the window of his room. Officers, found $16.00 and his watch in the room. Mr. Bradfield registered at the hotel about five o'clock Monday afternoon.
He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Gasta Lamb of Fairfax; two children. W. J. Bradfield and Miss Jimmie Leila Bradfield, also of Fairfax; his parents Mr. And Mrs Frank P Bradfield, four sisters, Mrs. J. M. Lamb, Mrs Lee Lamb, Mrs. Bill Burdette, and Mrs. Bryon Fox and four brothers, Messrs, Calvin, Alvin, Jim and Tyler Bradfield.
