ROBINSON -Mrs. Olan (Christine M. York Berry) Swope, 85, of Robinson died 11:30 p.m. Friday (March 23, 1990) in Ridgeview Care Center, Oblong.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, with visitation 5 to 8 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Robinson New Cemetery.
Mrs. Swope was born in Crawford County, daughter of Willis and Julia York. She was a retired grocery clerk and member of Grand Prairie United Church of Christ. She married Raymond Berry in 1924. He died in 1947. She married Olan Swope in 1955. He died in 1967.
Surviving are her stepsons, Robert Swope of Robinson; Larry Swope of Makanda; stepdaughter, Mrs. James (Geraldine) McCrory of Robinson; six stepgrandchildren; 15 great-stepgrandchildren.
Five brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
