He was the husband of Miss Lucy Barbar of Sharps.
They had three children, Woodley Crocker Blackwell, Jr. of Warsaw; Miss Lucy Barber Blackwell of Washington, and Moreau Blackwell of the Panama Canal Zone.
He was buried at the Emmanuel Church Cemetery at Emerson.
He was also survived by a sister, Mrs. W. L. Russell of Mila, three brothers, Hie Blackwell of Fredericksburg, Thomas Blackwell of White Post and Archie Blackwell of Beverlyville.
