Elvina H. Bauman was born to Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bauman in Deer Creek, MN March 10, 1914. She moved to Arlington with her parents when she was a baby. She was baptized and confirmed in St. John’s Lutheran Church in Arlington and attended school here also. She had been employed by the Farmers Co-op Creamery. On September 13, 1933, she was married to Hilmer (Red) Pederson. She died May 12 in the Kingsbury County Memorial Hospital in Lake Preston following a short illness.

Survivors include her husband Hilmer of Arlington, two sons, LeRoy of Goshen, IN., and Loren (Button) of Eureka, California; three daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Lorna) Petersen of Eureka, CA, Mrs. Ervin (Bonnie) Mullet of Goshen, IN, and Mrs. Charles (Geraldine) Wiederman of Middlebury, IN; two brothers, Carl of Arlington and Fred of Watertown; and two sisters, Mrs. Jul (Ella) Pederson of Lake Poinsett and Mrs. Bob (Lillie) Juday of Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, August; and a sister, Marie.
